Can't Miss Winter Broadway Shows
The winter season brings some amazing Broadway shows to life. These shows are all well attended and often attract tourists. Here are some of the shows worth seeing on Broadway this winter. Twelfth Night and Richard the Third is a Broadway show that is opening November 10th at the Belasco Theatre. The show is directed by a two time Tony Award winner who will be playing Twelfth Night's Olivia as well as Richard himself in Richard the Third. After Midnight is a can't- miss Broadway show that will be opening on November 3rd at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. The show stars former American Idol contestant Fantasia Barrino. The show is about the hip nightclub scene in Harlem. It will be directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle as well as two huge names in the fashion world, Ruben and Isabel Toledo. The show also includes Grammy winner nine times over, Wynton Marsalis. On November 17th at the Walter Kerr Theatre will be the opening of A Gentleman's Guide To Love And Murder. This musical is labeled as a dark comedy about one man's quest to eliminate eight heirs to become Duke. The story takes place in England during the era of Edwardian times. Tony award winning actor Jefferson Mays stars as all eight of the heirs in this can't miss winter Broadway show. Perhaps one of the most famous plays ever, MACBETH, is set to open at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre on November 21st. The show stars both Anne-Marie Duff and Ethan Hawke. This will be a new take on the classic story the world has come to know and love. Tourists traveling to NYC to see these can'tÂ miss Broadway shows will want to stay in a nearby Times Square hotel for their own convenience.
