Fans of (Free) Film
For the first time ever, the Tribeca Film Festival will screen 35 films for free on Friday, April 25. It's all part of presenting sponsor AT&T's "Film For All Friday" – a new initiative that will put coveted Film Fest tickets in the hands of any film lover, simply by stopping by an AT&T-owned retail location between April 14-17. (They can also drop by the Film Festival box office or, after April 17, try online at TribecaFilm.com.) Highlights of the day's schedule include Palo Alto, the directorial debut of Gia Coppola starring Emma Roberts and James Franco, and This Time Next Year, a documentary exploring the post-Sandy recovery of a New Jersey town. Now in its 13th year, the Festival itself runs April 16-27.
